ITS Mechatronics

Kilometro Rosso

Two classes from the Mechatronics course at Kilometro Rosso had the opportunity to work side by side with Aesys professionals on two stimulating project works.

The projects had a strongly technical focus and centered on the integration of a panel within automated systems. Guided by industry experts, the students were able to deepen their knowledge in the design, development, and implementation phases, tackling real-world challenges in mechatronics and automation.

This unique opportunity for hands-on learning and professional growth highlights the importance of collaborations like this one in shaping the specialized technicians of the future!

ITS Mechatronics

Jobs Academy

The collaboration with Jobs Academy has led to the creation of a highly stimulating educational project for two classes at the institute. Aesys' electronic experts organized a series of lessons for each class, during which they introduced the participants to the world of advanced sensor technology.

The students had the opportunity to explore the functioning of MEMS, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers, learning how these instruments can measure movements and orientations in space. To put theoretical knowledge into practice, they used a prototyping platform that allows easy programming of sensors and real-time data collection.

This project, in addition to strengthening the students' technical skills, fostered collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity—key elements of their educational journey.

ITS Electronics

Kilometro Rosso

At the SMILE laboratory of Kilometro Rosso, the Summer School took place, an innovative project born from the collaboration between Aesys, Confindustria Bergamo, ITS Lombardia Meccatronica, and the partner companies Eutron, FAE Technology, and LOVATO Electric SpA.

27 students from high schools in Bergamo and the surrounding area participated in a training program that combines theory and practice, with workshops, group work, and company visits. This is a comprehensive experience aimed at showcasing the potential of electronics and opening new professional pathways in a crucial sector for the future.

This project marks the cornerstone of a journey that will lead to the creation of a Higher Technical Institute dedicated to electronics, scheduled for the academic year 2025/2026. The new ITS, through integration with leading companies in the electronics sector, aims to train specialized professionals capable of meeting the growing demand in a constantly evolving technological market.

As emphasized by Paolo Piantoni, General Director of Confindustria Bergamo, "In a constantly evolving work environment, it is essential to focus on initiatives that unite companies and institutions, offering young people concrete opportunities to build their professional future."
